What makes Fujitora's sword different from a katana?
Updated Mar 2026
Fujitora carries a straight-bladed ninjato rather than a curved katana - a meaningful distinction both in the One Piece story and in the physical replica. While katana feature a characteristic curve (sori) developed for drawing and slicing motion, the ninjato form is straight and typically shorter, giving it a stark, no-frills silhouette. In the series, the blade is disguised as a walking cane, reinforcing the character's understated philosophy. Our replica preserves this straight geometry with a full-tang 1045 carbon steel blade, rosewood saya, and gold alloy fittings - making it immediately recognizable alongside curved katana replicas from the same One Piece collection.
