Return Policy

At TrueKatana, customer satisfaction is our top priority. We handle every return on a case-by-case basis with one goal in mind: making sure you're happy with your purchase. We stand behind every product we sell and will always do our best to take care of you.



30-Day Return Window

If you receive an item that is damaged or defective, you may request a return, replacement, or refund within 30 calendar days after your tracking number has been marked as "delivered."

To help us process your request, we may ask for photos or other documentation so we can properly assess the issue and find the best solution for you.



How the Return Process Works

  1. Contact us — Email customerservice@truekatana.com with your order number and a description of the issue. Include photos if possible.
  2. Receive your RMA number — If your return is approved, we'll issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number along with return instructions. We do not accept returns without an RMA.
  3. Ship the item back — The item must be received at our warehouse within 14 days of the RMA being issued. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service. Items returned after the 14-day deadline may be subject to a 30% restocking fee.
  4. Receive your refund or replacement — Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we'll process your refund or ship your replacement.



Return Conditions

  • Items must be returned in new, unused condition with all original packaging, accessories, and documentation. Incomplete returns may be subject to a 30% restocking fee.
  • If the issue is due to a manufacturing defect or our error, we will cover all costs — including product replacement and return shipping.
  • For all other returns, the buyer is responsible for return shipping costs. The original outbound shipping fee of $30 is non-refundable.



Refund Processing

Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method within 3–5 business days. Please note that your bank or payment provider may take additional time to post the refund to your account.



Order Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible — ideally within 24 hours of placing it. If the order has already been processed and shipped, we are unable to cancel it. In that case, you can return the item to our US warehouse once it arrives.



Quality & Craftsmanship Guarantee

If you discover a quality or craftsmanship issue with your sword, please contact us immediately. We take product quality seriously and will work with you to resolve the issue. Products that have been subject to misuse, abuse, or intentional damage are not eligible for this guarantee.

Our products are described as accurately as possible on our website. Occasional slight variations in measurements, color, or design may occur due to the handmade nature of our swords — these are not considered defects.
