What makes the Nidai Kitetsu different from the Sandai Kitetsu?
Updated Feb 2026
In One Piece lore, the Kitetsu swords are ranked in three grades. The Sandai Kitetsu is the lowest tier, classified as a Wazamono (fine blade), while the Nidai Kitetsu is an O Wazamono (great grade), indicating superior craftsmanship within the fictional universe. In our replica collection, that distinction is reflected through design details: the Nidai features a purple saya and a different tsuba pattern compared to the Sandai’s signature red scabbard. The Nidai’s blade profile is also slightly broader near the habaki, echoing its portrayal as a more formidable piece. Owning both replicas lets collectors showcase the full design evolution of the Kitetsu cursed lineage side by side.
