How should I store or display this armor long-term?

The primary enemies of a lacquered metal yoroi display are UV light, moisture, and physical vibration. Position the suit away from south-facing windows or install UV-filtering panels if the display area receives strong natural light. Humidity should ideally remain between 40 and 55 percent; in coastal or basement environments, a small dehumidifier or silica gel packs placed near the base of the stand will prevent surface oxidation on metal components and protect the lacing from mold. Never use liquid cleaners on the lacquer surface - a clean, dry microfiber cloth or a natural-bristle brush is sufficient for routine dusting. If the display is in a high-traffic area, consider a low acrylic barrier to prevent accidental contact with the lacing or crest ornaments, which are the most delicate elements of any full suit.
