Product Details

The blade is forged from manganese steel and hardened to 62 HRC, producing a chrome-polished nagasa measuring 28.34 inches. The full-tang construction runs the entire length of the handle, giving the piece solid structural integrity. A cream habaki sits neatly at the base of the blade, providing a clean visual transition into the fittings.

The tsuka extends 10.62 inches and is built on a wood core wrapped in PU black samegawa - an imitation rayskin that replicates the traditional textured grip surface. Black cotton cord is wrapped over it in a classic diagonal ito pattern, creating reliable hand contact and an authentic samurai aesthetic.

The tsuba is cast from black alloy in a geometric open-lattice design: a circular outer ring with symmetrical rectangular cutouts arranged in a grid, a form that references functional Japanese guard work while reading as a strong visual element. The cream habaki beneath it anchors the transition between blade and handle fittings.

The saya is the most striking visual feature of this piece - 29.52 inches of matte blue rayskin wrap cover a wood core, producing a deep blue-grey textured surface that contrasts sharply against the black tsuka. Silver-tone metal hardware including kurikata and a lobster-clasp ring accommodates the black leather sageo strap, which loops cleanly along the body of the saya. At 40.15 inches overall and 2.86 lbs, this katana is finished in full koshirae style - all fittings coordinated in a black and blue palette with chrome and silver hardware accents. It is a well-scaled collectible replica suited for display or cosplay reference. For those exploring longer-format Japanese sword replicas, Black Sageo Japanese Samurai Swords offers a curated range of coordinated options. Note: sword stand is not included.

I was supposed to get a blue leather scabbard but I instead got a black and gold designed scabbard. Which is still beautiful. The sword itself is amazing and truly feels powerful to hold. I will be ordering again soon and hopefully get the right design this time haha

It was a Christmas gift for my son. I have given him a Sword for Christmas since he was a freshman in high school. He is 30 years old now. And he still enjoys the gifts. He acts like he’s not looking for it. But he still enjoys getting them. I enjoy the anticipation of him giving them to him. Sword was beautiful.
