I'll start by saying I very much love this sword as a collectors piece, and although I'll say I don't know very much about blades, the couple things that kinda turn me off are that I'm not sure if this blade is full tang or not, other blades listed say full tang and some do not,this one does not. In the handle of some other blades including this one there is a visible wooden securing pin that would usually be covered or would usually be some sort of metal pin I think? Other than the peg within the handle itself I actually don't know what that blue material is made of, its interesting but not exactly my first choice as its got small bubbly ball patterns within, other than that, the blade is balanced, the handle is nice to hold, the designs are beautiful and I'll probably buy more swords from here as collectors. And yes the blade comes nice and sharp and ready to cut.

I thought that it looked good in the picture... was VERY pleasantly surprised when it arrived and it was better than I had expected it to be. Of note, remember if you need a display rack for it, it does not come with one, remember to purchase one if you want one. I made that mistake. A for these guys! Awesome stuff.
