Red Blade Manganese Steel Katana with Plum Blossom Tsuba and Red Lacquered Hardwood Saya

This red blade katana features a full tang manganese steel blade finished in a deep crimson hue. The hand-polished edge transitions to a bright silver kissaki tip, creating a bold contrast against the dark red surface. The 11-inch tsuka is built with a black PU samegawa base wrapped in tight black cotton ito cord using a traditional diamond pattern. Small gold menuki ornaments sit beneath the wrapping, adding subtle detail and improving grip texture. The kashira at the pommel end matches the black finish, keeping the handle visually cohesive.

A copper-toned alloy tsuba serves as the guard, featuring an intricate plum blossom branch motif with gold and silver inlay work.
