Manganese Steel Ninjato with Lightning-Pattern Black Saya & Vine-Engraved Blade

The blade on this ninjato is forged from manganese steel with a straight double-bevel profile and a polished chrome finish. Running along the flat of the blade is a hand-etched vine engraving - a dense, repeating pattern that adds visual texture to the otherwise clean steel surface. The blade measures as part of a 41-inch overall sword, and the full-tang construction ensures the steel extends completely through the handle assembly.

The tsuka is wrapped in a tight diamond-pattern black cord over a PU samegawa base, giving the grip a firm, textured feel. Gold-tone menuki accents are set beneath the wrap at traditional placement points, visible through the cord weave. The handle's all-black color scheme is consistent with the saya and sageo, creating a unified dark aesthetic across the entire koshirae.

At the blade-handle junction sits a gold-tone alloy tsuba cast in an ornate scroll design.
