Damascus Steel Katana with Real Hamon, Full Tang - Black-Gold Dragon Saya, Wave Tsuba

The tsuka is wrapped in black cord over white PU samegawa, laid in the traditional diamond-pattern braid. Silver-toned menuki fittings are set into the wrap faces, adding fine detail at close range. The full tang extends the complete length of the handle, held firmly in place for a solid, well-balanced feel in hand.

The tsuba is a standout element in this build - a round iron guard with a raised wave motif rendered in black and silver, accented with gold and silver gilding, and set with a copper seppa at the center. The brass habaki collar transitions cleanly from guard to blade, completing the classic koshirae hardware arrangement.

The saya is constructed from hardwood and finished with hand-applied lacquer in deep black. The surface is carved with a full gold dragon relief motif that wraps around the scabbard, giving it a three-dimensional sculptural quality that reads well both on a stand and mounted on a wall. A braided black-and-white sageo cord is attached at the kurikata in a looped display knot.
