The tsuka is wrapped in genuine white samegawa, a textured ray skin base that provides grip under the ito. Dark navy cord is wound in a traditional hishigami pattern, with gold-toned diamond inserts marking each crossing point, creating a striking blue-and-gold contrast visible from the kashira down to the habaki collar.

The tsuba is the visual centerpiece of this koshirae assembly.
