How does the Shodai Kitetsu replica differ from the Nidai and Sandai?

 Updated Feb 2026

While all three Kitetsu replicas share the family's distinctive cursed-blade identity, each is visually distinct. The Sandai Kitetsu features a red saya and a relatively shorter, more aggressive profile — the blade most associated with Zoro's early adventures. The Nidai Kitetsu uses a purple scabbard and exhibits slightly more refined proportions, reflecting its higher lore grade. The Shodai, as the Supreme Grade pinnacle, typically features the most elaborate finishing details and commanding blade presence. Collectors building the full trilogy will find each piece adds a new visual register to the display rather than simply repeating the same design at different sizes.
