Product Details

This 1060 carbon steel katana features a 28.3-inch full tang blade hand-finished to 62 HRC hardness. The manganese steel composition provides a strong, resilient edge with a clean chrome-toned polish that catches light along the entire cutting surface. At 1.18 inches wide, the blade carries solid presence while maintaining a balanced weight of 2.65 lbs overall.

The 10.2-inch tsuka is built on a hardwood core layered with PU white samegawa, then tightly wrapped in black cord using a traditional diamond pattern. The white rayskin panels create a sharp contrast against the dark ito wrapping, giving the handle both visual depth and a firm, non-slip grip.

At the junction of blade and handle sits a black iron tsuba shaped in a flower-petal silhouette with a finely textured surface. A brass-toned habaki collar provides a warm metallic accent that bridges the dark tsuba and the polished steel, adding a refined transition between components.

The 30.3-inch hardwood saya is fully sheathed in brown PU leather featuring rows of raised riveted studs - a distinctive design that sets this piece apart from standard lacquered scabbards. A black leather carrying strap with dual snap closures attaches near the koiguchi, offering a practical and rugged aesthetic. The matte finish and weathered leather tones give the saya an aged, field-worn character.

With its full 40.5-inch length and attention to detail across every fitting, this katana stands as a well-rounded collectible piece suited for display or as part of a broader 1060 Carbon Steel Japanese Samurai Swords collection. The combination of studded leather saya, flower-shaped iron tsuba, and traditional black cord handle creates a distinctive profile not often found among standard replica swords.

  • Forged from 1060 carbon steel with a full tang construction, the 28.3-inch blade delivers a refined edge and reaches 62 HRC hardness for lasting durability.

  • Black iron tsuba features a flower-shaped silhouette with a textured surface, paired with a brass-toned habaki that adds a striking visual accent.
  • Hardwood saya is fully wrapped in studded brown PU leather with a riveted texture, complemented by a black leather carrying strap with snap closures.
  • Total length of 40.5 inches with a blade width of 1.18 inches and an overall weight of 2.65 lbs, offering a well-balanced profile for display and collection.

I got everything I asked for. My sword stained a bit but that was probably my fault for cutting pop bottles and whatnot. It took a bit to come but well worth every penny I recommend true katana if your looking to buy a sword very reliable
