Product Details

The blade on this wakizashi is hand-forged from high manganese steel, processed to balance hardness with flexibility across its 51 cm nagasa. The chrome-polished surface reflects light cleanly along the blade's gentle curve, with a distinct hamon line tracing the edge - a hallmark of traditional Japanese sword geometry translated into a modern High Manganese Steel Wakizashi replica format.

The full-tang construction extends the blade steel completely through the tsuka core, locking into the handle assembly for solid structural integrity. The 27 cm tsuka is wrapped with black cotton ito over black PU same-gawa in a hishi-gumi diamond pattern, creating consistent knot spacing and a firm grip surface across the entire handle length.

At the blade-handle junction sits a chrysanthemum-themed tsuba cast in gold-toned alloy. The chrysanthemum motif - one of Japan's most enduring heraldic symbols - is rendered with visible petal detail across the round guard face. Matching gold-tone fuchi and kashira fittings frame the tsuka ends, bringing visual continuity to the hardware throughout the koshirae.

The black lacquered hardwood saya provides a smooth, high-gloss finish that complements the all-black handle and cord. A black sageo cord is knotted at the kurikata for traditional carry presentation. The overall color palette - matte black ito, gloss black saya, and gold fittings against the chrome blade - creates a strong contrast-driven aesthetic typical of Ninja Wakizashi styling.

With a 51 cm blade, 27 cm handle, and complete koshirae assembly including saya, this wakizashi replica is proportioned to traditional short-sword specifications. The gold chrysanthemum tsuba, precision-finished blade, and layered black hardware make it a focused collectible for Japanese sword enthusiasts seeking a well-appointed wakizashi with classical koshirae detailing.

  • Full-tang high manganese steel blade runs the full length of the handle for structural integrity, finished with a mirror-polished chrome surface and a visible hamon line along the edge.
  • Chrysanthemum-themed gold alloy tsuba adds a refined Japanese aesthetic, paired with gold-tone fuchi and kashira fittings that contrast sharply against the all-black koshirae.
  • Black cotton ito is tightly wrapped over black PU same-gawa (ray skin) in a traditional hishi-gumi pattern, providing a firm, non-slip grip on the 27 cm tsuka.
  • Black lacquered hardwood saya features a glossy finish and is secured with a black sageo cord - a clean, low-profile scabbard design consistent with classic koshirae style.
  • Blade length (nagasa) 51 cm, handle length (tsuka) 27 cm; hand-forged construction with attention to traditional wakizashi proportions for a display-focused replica.

I am a 3ird Dan, 52 years old, I started martial arts wrestling at age 7, and have continued my training to the present. I have focused my training on weapons, these swords will elevate my progress. The swords are the real deal. Each sword is a sharp deadly piece of art. I received a dragon granite naginata, the handle extra long for more power, and the blade is long sharp and heavy. This is a real animal if you have the strength to use it. Also I received 2 duplicate python naginata short swords that works perfectly to use 2 sword techniques. These 2 swords when used together are like precision instruments. Also with the naginata short swords there is no need for a wakizashi. I love these swords and the weapons will become a part of my fighting spirit. The swords I received are way better than the pictures showing them. The customer service is the best, and if there is any issues it would get resolved. If you find yourself waiting longer then expected, remember handmade and shipping from China. Well worth the wait. I have already made steps to get a 41 inch katana clay tempered monk and skull. Thank you Truekatana, may you live long and prosper
