Product Details

This striking katana features a full tang 1045 carbon steel blade finished in a deep crimson red. The steel has been heat treated and oil quenched to achieve a hardness of 58 HRC, and the blade surface reveals layered dark grain patterns visible at the kissaki tip. At 21.5 inches, the blade carries a traditional curvature that catches light across its vivid red surface, making it an immediate focal point in any display.

The 6.5-inch tsuka is built on a traditional structure with red PU samegawa beneath tightly wound white cotton ito in a classic diamond wrap pattern. Red same peeks through the crossover points of the white cord, creating a rhythmic red-and-white contrast that echoes the sword's overall color theme. The construction ensures both visual appeal and a textured, secure grip.

At the intersection of blade and handle sits an alloy tsuba finished in dual gold and silver tones. The guard features an elaborate orchid-themed openwork design - delicate floral motifs rendered in raised gold relief against a pierced silver-tone frame. A gold-finished habaki collar and coordinating fuchi-kashira complete the fittings with a cohesive metallic warmth.

The hardwood saya is coated in a rich red lacquer with a textured floral surface pattern that gives it depth and visual complexity. A red and white striped braided sageo cord is tied at the kurikata in a traditional knot, adding an elegant finishing detail. The saya mouth and kojiri tip are fitted with black horn-style accents that frame the red body cleanly. This piece belongs among the finest in any Red Katana collection.

With an overall length of 41 inches and a weight of 1.5 lbs, this katana balances bold aesthetics with faithful Japanese sword proportions. The coordinated red, white, and gold color palette sets it apart from conventional designs, making it an excellent centerpiece for collectors drawn to Multi-colored Blade Japanese Samurai Swords. Includes the sword and saya; display stand sold separately.

Honestly, did not expect the Katana’s to look so amazing. The pictures don’t do enough justice for them. When you hold it and look at it in person, you feel like a child with a brand new joy and just enjoy gazing at it.

IT'S COOL AS HELL. It came in on time, and I was admiring the scabbard and the hilt and all that, then I pulled out the actual blade and holyyyyyyyyyyy it was spectacular. It's got a real nice weight to it and the quality is amazing. I quite literally come home and admire it for like 5 mins straight every day. So yeah, great sword, great look, I love it.

I want to say this is the 6th or 7th sword I’ve purchased from TrueKatana and they’ve yet to disappoint. I’ve been buying them as gifts and this has been a great year for my friends - everyone is happy.
