The clay tempering process produces a natural, wavy hamon line along the edge - clearly visible where the red-toned spine meets the polished cutting edge. As part of the Red Blade Manganese Steel Katana collection, this piece showcases a finish that shifts between deep crimson and copper tones depending on the light.

The tsuka measures 10.23 inches and is built over a full tang core. PU red samegawa sits beneath tightly wound black cotton ito, with the red underlayer creating vivid diamond-shaped accents along the handle. The wrapping is firm and even, providing a textured grip surface across the entire length.

At the junction of blade and handle, a real copper tsuba in a warm gold tone features an engraved bamboo-themed design. The round guard carries a traditional mon crest pattern and sits flush against a black habaki collar, creating a clean visual transition between the red blade and black handle.

The hardwood saya is finished in high-gloss black piano lacquer and measures 30.7 inches. Near the koiguchi and kurikata, red speckled accents break up the black surface, echoing the red tones found in the blade and samegawa. A black sageo cord is tied at the kurikata in a traditional knot pattern, completing the saya's refined appearance.
