Product Details

This full tang katana features a 28.74-inch blade forged from T10 carbon steel, hardened to 58 HRC. The steel delivers strong edge retention and resilience, and the chrome-polished surface shows clean, even grain lines along the length of the blade. At 41 inches overall and 4.4 lbs, the sword carries a well-distributed weight suited to display and appreciation. Explore more from our T10 Steel Katana collection.

The 10.23-inch tsuka is built on a hardwood core wrapped in PU white samegawa, then tightly bound with black cotton ito in a traditional diamond pattern. The white same panels create a sharp contrast against the black cord, and the wrap extends to a black binding at the kashira. The grip is firm, well-proportioned, and finished with care.

At the junction of blade and handle sits an alloy tsuba shaped into a sculpted lotus leaf design with a silver-toned finish. Each petal and vein is rendered in dimensional relief, adding an organic quality to the guard. A gold-toned copper habaki seats the blade securely into the tsuba assembly, providing both a functional lock and a warm metallic accent.

The 30.7-inch hardwood saya is coated in piano lacquer with a natural beige tone that gives it a smooth, luminous surface. The lower half of the saya carries a striking hand-painted design depicting traditional samurai masks and iconography in black ink, adding a bold artistic statement to the scabbard. A black and white sageo cord is tied at the kurikata for traditional fastening.

This katana brings together forged T10 steel, detailed metalwork, and distinctive saya artwork into a collectible display piece rooted in Japanese sword tradition. Whether mounted on a stand or held in hand, it reflects the craftsmanship found across our Beige Scabbard Japanese Samurai Swords collection.

The katana arrived in excellent condition and was very sharp right out of the box. Purchased for a family member and they are very satisfied!

great quality for fittings and ability to hold an edge and overall quality. my only criticisms are the end cap being loose and a slightly inconsistent polish along one side of the blade. as a whole it's more than worth the price. thanks.
