T10 Carbon Steel Katana with Real Hamon in Orange Lacquer Saya - Black Cord Handle, Gold-Black Tsuba

The blade on this katana is forged from T10 carbon steel and finished with a visible hamon line running along its length - the natural result of the clay tempering process applied during heat treatment. The polished chrome surface brings out the contrast between the hardened edge and the softer spine, making the hamon pattern clearly readable even at a distance. The tsuka is wrapped in black cord over a white ray-skin (samegawa) base layer, following traditional Japanese handle construction. The full-tang design runs the complete length of the handle, and the silver-toned menuki accent is visible beneath the wrap. The kashira endcap matches the silver hardware tone, keeping the handle fittings cohesive.

The tsuba is a gold-black alloy piece with an openwork geometric pattern - as shown clearly in the detail shot. The cutwork design creates an intricate lattice effect, and the two-tone gold-black finish bridges the orange saya and black tsuka visually. Habaki and seppa fit cleanly at the blade collar, holding the tsuba firmly in position.

The saya is crafted from hardwood finished in orange natural lacquer, producing a warm amber-gold tone with visible texture across the surface. Black sageo cord is tied at the kurigata in a clean knot, and a silver-toned kojiri caps the tip.
