Product Details

The blade on this ninjato is forged from T10 carbon steel, a high-carbon tool steel known for its edge retention and fine grain structure. The hand-finishing process produces a natural hamon line along the edge - a visible temper boundary that reflects the heat treatment applied during forging. The chrome-polished surface highlights the blade geometry cleanly, and the full-tang construction runs the complete length from tip through handle.

The tsuka is wrapped in white PU ray-skin (samegawa) as the base layer, then bound with white cotton ito in a traditional diamond-pattern braid. Gold-tone menuki are seated beneath the wrapping at the grip, visible at the top portion of the handle. The result is a clean, high-contrast handle that reads clearly against the dark saya.

The tsuba is cast alloy in white with a sculpted wave motif - a recurring theme in classical Japanese sword fittings. The wave carving runs across the face of the guard in low relief, framed by a gold-tone habaki collar at the blade base. This wave tsuba design is part of the broader Tiger Ninjato koshirae aesthetic represented in this build.

The saya is constructed from hardwood with a natural lacquer finish applied in a marble-speckle pattern - dark navy blue ground with scattered white flecks distributed across the full length. The sageo is a dark blue cord braided with cream-white thread, creating a diamond-lace pattern along the scabbard. This saya finish is a signature detail across the T10 Ninja Sword collection.

Overall length is 41 inches and total weight is 3 lbs. Packaged in a 43 x 4 x 4 inch box with a shipping weight of 4 lbs. The sword stand is not included. Intended for collection and display purposes.

It is very beautiful and does look very sharp. However the sheath color is pretty different from the picture. The one I have is more deep purple/blue then a deep green/aqua color i was expecting. Other then that not bad.
