Manganese Steel Straight Ninjato with Red-Black Saya and Black Cord Tsuka - Chokuto Replica

The blade is forged from manganese steel and finished to a mirror-like chrome polish, running in a straight chokuto profile without curvature. Unlike traditional curved katana, this ninjato geometry gives it a clean, angular silhouette that catches light from tip to base. Red streak engravings near the tip add a vivid visual accent against the polished silver surface. The tsuka is wrapped in black cord over a red PU samegawa (rayskin imitation) base, producing a high-contrast diamond pattern that runs the full grip length. Red flame-shaped accents are visible beneath the cord wrapping, giving the handle an aggressive layered look. Gold-tone menuki hardware is set into the wrap at mid-grip, adding a subtle metallic detail.

The square iron tsuba is finished in black with red inlay detailing along the inner edges, maintaining the sword's consistent black-and-red color scheme. A gold habaki sits flush between the tsuba and blade base, providing a precise collar fit. The plain tsuba design keeps the aesthetic modern and uncluttered.

The hardwood lacquer saya is finished in deep gloss black along most of its length, transitioning into a bold red splatter texture near the opening end. Black sageo cord is wrapped and knotted at the kurigata, and a red cabochon menuki-style jewel is set at the cord junction.
