Product Details

The blade on this ninjato is forged from manganese steel and brought to a bright chrome polish, revealing a clean hamon line along the edge. The full-tang construction - confirmed by the item_tags - means the steel extends completely through the handle, giving the piece solid structural integrity whether it sits on a display stand or hangs on a wall mount. The precision-finished edge and handcrafted finish make this a standout piece among Japanese Ninja Sword collectors.

The tsuka is built over white PU samegawa, then wrapped in black cord tsuka-ito in a classic diamond pattern. The result is a high-contrast black-and-white handle that photographs well and holds its look over time. The kashira and fuchi hardware complement the overall koshirae in matching tones.

Sitting between blade and handle is a circular alloy tsuba finished in a two-tone gold-and-silver combination. The open-work design traces a chrysanthemum pattern - petals cut through the metal to create depth and shadow. It is one of the more refined Flower Tsuba Ninjato fittings available at this price point, balancing traditional motif with clean metalwork.

The saya is the visual centerpiece of the piece. Constructed from hardwood and lacquered in gray, the surface carries a crackle texture - a pattern of fine irregular lines that read as aged stone or dried earth. A black sageo cord is knotted at the kurigata, providing a period-correct accent and a natural color bridge between the dark handle and the lighter scabbard.

Total length is 41 inches and the piece weighs 4 lbs, shipping at 5 lbs in a 43 x 4 x 4 inch package. The sword stand or holder is not included. This ninjato is designed as a display replica for collectors who want accurate koshirae styling, a distinctive crackle saya, and a full-tang blade in a single cohesive piece.

Sword came out amazing, wasn’t quite as sharp as “battle ready” makes it sound. But it looks exactly as shown in the photos and I am more than pleased considering the price tag!
