Heat treatment brings the edge to 62 HRC for lasting sharpness, while the chrome-polished flat keeps the surface clean and reflective. The full tang runs the complete length of the handle, locking blade and grip into a single rigid unit across an overall length of 22 inches.

The tsuka measures 6.3 inches and is built over a black polyurethane leather samegawa base. Brown cotton cord wraps the handle in the traditional diamond-gap pattern, and gold-tone menuki figures are seated beneath the wrap at each gap - catching light against the deep brown cord. The combination of warm brown, black, and gold across the handle gives the grip a layered visual depth that photographs well from any angle.

The black alloy tsuba takes an irregular, petal-like silhouette with a rough, hammered surface texture rather than a smooth finish.
