1095 Carbon Steel Katana with Black Hardwood Saya - Flower Alloy Tsuba, Full Tang

The blade of this katana is forged from 1095 carbon steel, ground and finished to produce a clean, polished edge with a visible real hamon running the length of the fuller. The tsuka is built over a hardwood core, underlaid with PU black samegawa that provides a textured, non-slip surface. Black cord wraps tightly over the samegawa in a traditional diamond-pattern braid. Gold-tone menuki accent pieces are set into the wrap on each side, offering a subtle metallic contrast against the deep black binding.

The silver-tone alloy tsuba is cast in a rounded silhouette and engraved with a flower theme - chrysanthemum and leaf motifs in relief fill the face, with fine surface texturing across the guard body. The seppa and habaki are fitted cleanly at the blade base, maintaining the tight collar between tsuba and saya mouth.

The saya is shaped from hardwood and finished in a matte black lacquer. Silver-tone kojiri and kurikata fittings are engraved with matching floral scroll patterns, tying the hardware visually to the tsuba.
