Well made, solid, tight. Weight and balance feel good. I like it very much. Blade is sharp but not razor sharp ) which is how I like it for practicing. I especially like that it has an iron tsuba.

Have not tested it out, but out of the box it looks great, just like the pictures. Feels like excellent craftsmanship, the only reason why I gave 4 stars and not 5 is because there's about a 3 inch section of the blade that is not sharpened properly. Cuts paper decently well but when it hits the dull section it tears. Will have to touch it up on the wet stone. For the price it's a great katana especially if it's true t10 steel that's properly forged/hardened.

Sword came damaged I had to pay around 80€ in customs.
So beware if you order from germany.
I contacted True Katana about the damage and I was told they will send a replacement part. I have never recieved any replacement parts. Last thing I heard from them was "We will keep you posted" and that was april 30th 2021.
The bamboo peg was missing and probably fell out of the hole that was in the cardboard box it was shipped in (no styrofoam).
It came with only one peghole even though the pictures showed it had 2. That doesnt bother me too much though. luckily the missing peg is quickly fixed with a chopstick.
The blade is really nice however. Love the hamon. The only thing I really wish for on this sword would be if the handle was wrapped in real rayskin. But atleast no animal had to die for this one :)
