Very happen with my purchase. I was a little nervous because I know there is a slippery slope between a quality, very expensive katana and complete crap. And I'm not a sword expert, I'm not slaying dragons or trying to cut God, I just wanted a decent katana to hang on the wall that isn't garbage. This hit the mark perfectly. This has the weight, balance, and detail of a real, practical sword. I did eventually do more research into what makes the more expensive swords more expensive and it usually just comes down to minor hand-made details that only an expert might notice, whereas this sword uses more machine-built parts. Otherwise, the details are all there. With that in mind, I'm quite happy with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone who wants a decent katana without taking out a loan to get it.
