The katana I recently purchased from TrueKatana was a thing of beauty! The timeframe on it was very reasonable and the engraving was a bit larger than I anticipated. The leather covered saya was exquisite and the steel was excellent.
The only concern was that I asked for the blade to be "ultral" sharpened.
We sell many katanas to martial artist competitors in Tameshigiri. Our katanas are usually rated by our BESS scale as 170 grams or less (As sharp as a double edged razor blade). We had asked for the "ultra" sharpness on this sword, but when tested, it came in at around 200 grams (closer to a single edged razor knife).

The handle is good and tight but there is a little gap on one side of the handle that looks rushed to be finished and also the bottom butt of the handle is loose. Over all I think it's great for what it's worth

The katana is good-looking. Is too light for my personal preferences. I had to glue the small metal ring on the top side where the waist string runs through. It came off very easy. The blade as it is aluminum bends easily. In my opinion, it needs to be thicker and wider. That will make not bend so easily and give it more weight. Overall I am satisfied even though it is on the expensive side when it comes to the cost and came with no sword cover or bag.

Came fast and was exactly as pictured.
Fair warning to those who are collecting all of Zoro swords. It is accurate to the anime/manga. However, when put up against the Wado Ichimonji and Sandai Kitetsu purchased from here it looks almost cartoonish in comparison. It still is a beautiful piece of work but the display of the collection gets thrown off.
I've gotten all my katanas so far from truekatana and they never disappoint in quality. Will definitely be add to my collections from here.
