Arrived in a couple weeks and I'm quite happy with it. I believe this sword is worth what I payed. Nothing more, nothing less. It's quite sharp, has a nice weight to it, and feels well-balanced. My next katana will be one that was forged and folded and tempered in Japan. And maybe one day I'll be in a place to own a real katana (tamahagane steel). Most of the blade I liked except for two things.The first thing I had a problem with is that TrueKatana describes this weapon as a short sword which is why I bought it but it is in fact a dagger,not a sword.The second being that the pommel is quite ugly but also not practical.It is shaped like a suction cup and is not blunt or pointed in any way.I was a little disappointed but I will be keeping the blade.Another thing I would like to point out is that the blade is Damascus Steel which is also not in the title but it’s not heavy Damascus steel it’s very light.

Absolutely Outstanding Work! It looks even more beautiful in person. As for me, It was a bizarre Christmas gift.
The blade is pretty sharp and it's heavy which I wasn't really expect it to be though I like it very much. Though, I don't think it's that durable if you swing it (Slash) but it can still cut so be careful.
I think my only takeway from this is that, the scabbard was a bit worn out I suppose. The sew was kind of loose and inside was leaving crumbs of wood/dust on the blade (It sticked to it due to the oil). I guess that's to be expected since they had it in stock, probably one that's been there for some time. Additionally, the time of shipping takes quite an amount of time but eventually it still came. Just make your orders about 2 weeks and a half earlier from when you'd want to recieve it (if from the US) because that's how long it took for me.

This is a beautiful sword that I have ordered It is a second time from Truekatana . The first one was Japanese Wakizashi. Both of them are apparently well made. I am making a review for this particular Chinese Broadsword. It is a very good looking hand made sword. But I found that some minor fit and finish issue on this sword.
I have contacted to Truekatana customer service team . They response me within 24 Hours. Kindly taken care of it. Next a few days later solved this issue.

Well made, beautiful addition to any collection. Once this blades true edge is revealed it is quite remarkable. Slightly heavy for some, a swing from this weapon leaves a formidable memory.

Katana was clean and used decent materials. But the blade became wobbly quickly and it looks like the blade itself was not set very well from the guard on down. Overall looks great but there where some minor details that seemed missed.
