I bought this as a gift, so I can't comment on the overall quality, but I did take it out of the package, and it feels solid. The number one concern with these things is always poor workmanship and rattling, but everything feels well built. It arrived in a full Styrofoam shell which kept it pretty safe. A corner of it was crumbled, but the sword was deep enough in the shell that it wasn't a worry. The sword blade was wrapped in plastic and coated with oil or grease which was nice to see.
Shipping was fast. Maybe a week-ish which isn't bad at all considering it originated from China. They provide you with a tracking number when the blade ships so you can follow the progress, which is pretty standard, but I appreciated having it.
A couple pieces of feedback and things to note. I ordered a stand and blade. The confirmation only had the tracking number for the blade, though they shipped separately. It would have been nice to have them both from the beginning. I sent an email and customer service got back to me the next day with the other tracking number. So best case I'd rather they sent them together, but it's SUPER nice knowing the customer service is there and responsive!
Last thing, they include a small pamphlet in the package telling you not to hit your friends or stick the sword in your mouth, but it would be REALLY nice if they also included some simple care instructions. How do I clean it initially. How should I care for it and keep it from rusting, etc. It's a nice thing to have when you are giving the sword as a gift. Or better yet, a small sample thing of some oil and a little microfiber cloth with their company logo on it. I can't imagine it would cost much and I'd pay a few dollars more not to have to do the research and buy the stuff from Amazon.

Feels like excellent craftsmanship, the only reason why I gave 4 stars and not 5 is because there's about a 3 inch section of the blade that is not sharpened properly. Cuts paper decently well but when it hits the dull section it tears. Will have to touch it up on the wet stone. For the price it's a great katana especially if it's true t10 steel that's properly forged/hardened.
