Packaging is terrible. It comes in a taped up Styrofoam container instead of a wooden or cardboard box. Its from China, but that's expected.r

The katana itself is decent and sharp.r
The outer finish on the saya is nice and looks exactly like the pictures.r

However, it was extremely hard to remove the katana from the saya, due to the habaki area getting stuck. I ended up having to lightly sand down the koiguchi area once I eventually got the katana out of the saya.r
r
Moreover, the blade rattles in the saya, which I'm not sure how I'm going to fix yet.

A great katana with good weight for practice.
I've been looking for a dull, yet rightly weighted katana to practice Iaido with at home and this one hit the spot. The white coat does wear off somewhat quickly when sheathing, but as this is a training tool, wear and tear is expected.
Overall I'm quite satisfied with the design and quality of the katana.

Shipping was fast and the sword is everything they said it would be, came packed tight in a Styrofoam case, undamaged and completely assembled (have seen some web site where after receiving the sword it has to be assembled – not what I wanted) The sword was greased and very sharp. This website has instructions on how to clean and maintain the sword, very helpful.

Overall good replica Katana. These are nice for the cost. They are not battle ready and not very sharp. However, if you wanted a show piece these will do nicely. Keep in mind an authentic Japanese Katana will cost thousands. Some new katanas are 30k . One more thing, these are made in China not Japan. If you want a replica you will be pleased.
