Very nice historic style Chinese sword. Excellent fittings and scabbard. Not very sharp, would need work to be a "cutting" sword, but for the price, I think it is a fine value. Size is smallish, but accurate to the period it represents.

I ordered the glaive and as for the weapon itself, I don't have any complaints. It's tall and has some real heft to it and it was sharp enough for me to make a few practice cuts in the styrofoam box it came in. Now my only complaint would have to do with the packaging. I understand "packing with care" but putting it in styrofoam packaging and completely covering it with packing tape was too much. Styrofoam got everything and was somehow cut up inside getting tiny pieces on the glaive and scabbard, and overall was just a mess to clean up, and the packing tape was a hassle to cut through when you don't have a box cutter or durable scissors.

So the sword itself is great it feels strong but I didn’t like that it came with practically no edge wich I have sharpened and I wish there was an option for a bigger sword because to me it’s quite small. But my main issue is the scabbard it looks great but there are some type of burn Marks on the metal parts of the scabbard and there is epoxy around the bottom of the black wrapping of the scabbard Also it is very loose and the sword will fall right out of the scabbard wich I don’t like because they are meant to protect the sword from damage, falling out , and the elements wich I will be addressing myself the sword itself is great but true katana your scabbards need a little more effort to secure the swords you sell

Sword is well made with beautiful damascus finish. However it is not sharp as I thought, esp for this price. I had to file the tip to form a sharp edge, then resharpen it using a Whetstone. If this is sharp out-of-the-box, I would give it 5 stars.

Sword has grinding damage on both sides of pommel. Appears to have happened in manufacturing. Sword is beautiful and it unfortunate that there is damage by the hands and is noticed when holding the sword. I have reached out to costumer services and hopefully I can get the pommel repaired or replaced. Please advise on next steps. I have several more pics if needed.

The sword arrived fast, earlier than I expected, which is always good. It looks very nice but the scabbard is really tight and the sword only seems to go in one way so at some point I’ll have to put a sticker on the right configuration to remind myself.

Really happy with the sword I did have a few cosmetic issues such as glue spots on the scabbard and the blade having shavings that gave me a sliver or two but overall the sword is sharp and fun to cut things with
