The tsuka follows the shirasaya convention - no ito wrapping, no rayskin panels. The handle is shaped from natural hardwood with a warm amber grain that matches the saya seamlessly, creating the uniform, unadorned silhouette that defines this traditional Japanese storage and presentation format.

At the blade collar, a gold-tone habaki with geometric open-lattice cutwork provides the only decorative accent on an otherwise restrained build. The pattern is precise and angular, contrasting well against both the dark blade steel and the honey-toned wood. Black horn-style fittings at the tsuka end and saya mouth add a clean finishing detail without breaking the natural palette.

The saya is crafted from natural hardwood, showing warm reddish-brown grain along its full length.
