The clay tempering process produces a natural hamon line visible along the blade surface, with a subtle wavy pattern that catches light at different angles. The edge is hand-finished for a refined profile.

The 6.3-inch tsuka is wrapped in black polyurethane leather cord over vivid red samegawa, arranged in a traditional diamond pattern that provides both visual contrast and a secure grip. An iron pommel cap at the top displays radial grooves radiating from the center, adding a rugged industrial accent to the handle assembly.

In place of a traditional tsuba, this tanto uses an iron collar with a textured, gear-like edge profile.
