Product Details

This full tang ninjato features a straight 28.34-inch blade forged from 1045 carbon steel, finished to a chrome tone with a refined edge. The steel is hardened to 60 HRC, delivering solid edge retention and structural integrity. Without a traditional tsuba guard, the blade transitions directly into the handle, giving the sword its distinctive minimalist shinobi profile that sets it apart from conventional Japanese swords.

The 10.62-inch handle is wrapped in tightly woven black faux leather, providing a textured grip surface with a secure hold. The wrapping pattern features a dense chevron weave that adds both visual interest and functional grip. This guardless design keeps the overall silhouette clean and understated, consistent with historical ninjato references.

The hardwood saya measures 29.52 inches and is finished with a semi-gloss black coating beneath a full black faux leather wrap. The woven leather covering matches the handle wrapping, creating a cohesive look from pommel to scabbard tip. The black alloy fittings at the mouth and end cap keep the presentation tight and uniform. For more options in this steel type, browse the 1045 Carbon Steel Ninjato collection.

Every element of this ninjato leans into a monochromatic black-and-silver color scheme. The chrome-finished blade contrasts sharply against the all-black fittings, leather, and lacquer, giving the piece a striking visual presence on any wall mount or display stand. The sword stand is not included.

At 40.55 inches overall and 1.66 lbs, this ninjato balances reach and handling weight effectively. Whether added to an existing collection of Ninja Katana replicas or displayed as a standalone piece, it delivers authentic styling backed by quality materials and attentive construction throughout.

Damn good sword. But since I was looking for a/ cane/sword instead of just a sword. But on resurching what else this Co has to offer? I've found me a Coldsteel Sword and Cane 18" in length. Since I'm I'm 61y/o I will also pick up a Cane/whip. That will give me peace of mind and not have to worry about picking up a charge of being in position of a double edged dirk or Derrick. Which some states don't allow. This is Not the first healthcare aid I have bought from this Company and it's damn sure not going to be the last!

It came well packed and oiled, I haven’t used it as it will be a safety precaution but from my perspective it’s well made, sharp, and well packed. Plus it just looks amazing

Can it have been better? Yes. Not a bad sword given at it's price point. The blade wasn't evenly as sharp or polished as I would like it to be and had a few high spots, but after sharpening/honing and polishing I was able to get it to the sharpness I wanted. The scabbard came loose after 2-3 times pulling the blade out and leaves wood chips behind. I would have to clean the blade every pull, but is becoming less of a clean up after a while.

Beautifully made, well balanced blade worth the purchase. I highly recommend this product to anyone who has experience with kendo and or pro-actively practices with blades! Remember safety first!
