The blade is forged from folded pattern (Damascus) steel, revealing flowing layered grain lines along the flat and a distinct real hamon temper line at the edge. The chrome-toned surface catches light cleanly, making the hamon visible without magnification. Full-tang construction runs the entire length of the handle core, ensuring the blade and handle move as one rigid unit.

The tsuka is wrapped in traditional hishi-gumi style using black cotton cord over a genuine white samegawa (ray skin) base. The diamond-pattern menuki accents sit flush under the cord at precise intervals, adding grip texture while reinforcing the classic koshirae silhouette. The handle proportions are sized for a natural two-handed grip.

The bronze dragon tsuba is the centerpiece of the fittings. Open-work filigree carving traces a dynamic dragon motif across the oval guard, with the gold-toned bronze giving the detail work strong contrast against the dark tsuka. A matching bronze habaki collar seats the blade cleanly in the mouth of the saya.
