The blade on this ninjato is forged from folded Damascus steel, producing the layered pattern that runs across the dark red surface. A visible hamon line traces the edge, and dragon engraving is worked into the flat of the blade, adding a second layer of detail to the already distinctive Damascus surface. The hand-finished edge and full-tang construction are consistent throughout, with the tang running the full length of the handle assembly.

The handle is wrapped in a smooth red hardwood grip, unbraided in the traditional sense but fitted with antiqued bronze alloy collar and pommel hardware. The pommel cap carries a small circular medallion motif. Bronze fitting tone is consistent across all metal components, giving the koshirae a unified antique character against the deep red of the grip material.

The guard is a bronze alloy tsuba in a wing or crescent form with upswept quillons - visible clearly in the detail shots.
