Product Details

This katana features a 28.74-inch full tang blade forged from T10 folded clay tempered steel, hardened to 58 HRC. The clay tempering process produces a distinct wavy hamon line that runs the length of the blade, clearly visible against the rose gold finish. The differential hardening gives the cutting edge superior hardness while allowing the spine to retain flexibility - a hallmark of traditional Japanese sword craftsmanship. The 10.23-inch tsuka is built on a hardwood core wrapped in white ray skin for texture and grip stability. Black cotton ito cord is tightly wound over the samegawa in a traditional diamond pattern, with red accents visible beneath each crossing - a subtle but eye-catching color detail that ties into the warmth of the blade's rose gold tone.

At the junction of blade and handle sits a real copper tsuba finished in brilliant gold. The guard features an elaborate floral and scroll relief design with deep dimensional detail, giving it a weighty, premium feel that complements the sword's overall gold-and-black color story.

The 30.7-inch hardwood saya is coated in piano lacquer with a striking effect - a deep black base embedded with countless gold and red sparkle particles that catch light at every angle. A black sageo cord wraps the saya at an amber-toned kurikata bead, and the koiguchi opening is finished cleanly for smooth draw and return.

At 41 inches overall and 4.4 lbs, this katana carries authentic weight and proportion. The rose gold blade, gold copper fittings, red-accented handle, and sparkle-finish saya create a cohesive design suited for collectors who value both material quality and visual impact. Love the use of wrap all over the katana. Also the preservatives on the blade itself gives it a nice touch keeping everything in tacked. And as expected the scabbard has a nice glossy finish.
