The blade is forged from T10 folded carbon steel and clay tempered to produce a genuine hamon - the visible temper line running along the edge that results from differential hardening. Folding the steel during the forging process refines the grain structure, giving the blade its characteristic layered surface texture visible near the kissaki. The polished chrome finish along the flat keeps the hamon line clearly readable against the body of the blade.

The handle is built over a full-tang core, ensuring the steel extends continuously from tip through tsuka. White pu samegawa wraps the wooden tsuka-guchi base, and black ito cord winds in a traditional diamond pattern over it, creating the raised grip nodes that are characteristic of authentic koshirae construction. Gold-toned fuchi and a circular kashira cap the upper and lower ends of the handle, completing the fittings with a warm metallic accent.

The silver alloy tsuba is cast in a dragon theme, with relief detailing worked into both faces of the guard. The circular form follows standard katana proportions while the raised imagery gives it presence as a standalone design element.
