Product Details

This katana features a 28.5-inch blade forged from 1045 manganese steel, heat-treated to HRC 58 hardness. The full tang blade carries a striking blue finish across its entire surface, with hand-engraved floral motifs running along the flat that catch light against the deep blue tone. The steel delivers solid edge retention and structural integrity, making this a standout piece among Manganese Steel Japanese Samurai Swords.

The tsuka stretches 10.25 inches with a hardwood core wrapped in PU white samegawa and tightly bound black ito cord. Gold diamond-shaped menuki sit beneath the wrap, adding both texture for grip and a visual accent that contrasts with the dark cord. A copper-toned fuchi caps the base of the handle where it meets the blade collar.

The round alloy tsuba features an intricate relief of flowers and vines in an antique silver finish. Each petal and leaf is cast with clear depth and definition, giving the guard a layered, sculptural quality. A copper-toned habaki ring sits just below, providing a warm transition between the tsuba and the blue blade.

The 28.5-inch saya is carved from hardwood and coated in high-gloss black piano lacquer. Silver floral engravings run along the body of the scabbard, echoing the motifs on both the blade and tsuba for a cohesive design theme. A black sageo cord wraps around the kurikata, which features a polished black ring detail. The glossy finish and engraved artwork make the saya a display piece in its own right.

At 41 inches overall and 4.5 lbs in weight, this katana balances presence with proportion. The coordinated floral theme across blade, tsuba, and saya ties the entire piece together, creating a collectible replica that rewards close inspection. Whether displayed on a stand or presented as a gift, this is a sword built to be appreciated from every angle - a worthy addition to any Best Katana collection.

Honestly was afraid it wasn’t gonna turn out how I hoped but it came out to be perfect, it’s feel so cool to hold and it’s weight is perfect. So happy with my katana. The blue blades are actually blue too, was worried that it wouldn’t be but it’s it’s 100% blue. Very happy thank you
