Product Details

This golden katana opens with its most striking feature - a full tang manganese steel blade finished in a rich gold tone and hand-engraved with jagged lightning lines that run from habaki to kissaki. The folded steel construction builds layered internal grain beneath the golden surface, while a hardness of 58 HRC ensures the 29-inch nagasa holds a refined edge. The overall effect is a blade that catches light along every engraved channel, creating visual depth that shifts with viewing angle.

The 10.25-inch tsuka pairs a white polyurethane samegawa base with yellow leather wrapping in a tight cross-knot pattern. At the pommel, a gold flame-shaped kashira rises in sculpted layers, adding vertical drama that mirrors the lightning motif on the blade. The combination of white and gold tones along the handle creates a clean contrast against the darker saya.

Dominating the guard position is a gold alloy tsuba sculpted as a roaring dragon head. The dragon's open jaws encircle the blade opening, with individually detailed scales, horns, and fangs rendered in high relief. This three-dimensional piece transforms the tsuba from a functional guard into a sculptural centerpiece worthy of any Gold Katana collection.

The 29.5-inch hardwood saya is wrapped in brown leather textured with a raised crackle pattern, producing a scaled reptilian look in tones of amber, brown, and gold. Gold accents at the koiguchi and kurikata tie the saya visually to the dragon theme and golden fittings. The overall texture gives the scabbard a substantial, organic feel that pairs naturally with the dragon guard.

At 45.6 inches in total length and 3.2 pounds, this katana balances visual impact with manageable weight for display mounting or shelf presentation. Every fitting - from the flame kashira to the dragon tsuba to the scaled saya - follows a unified gold-and-brown color story, making it a cohesive addition to any Gold Samurai Sword display.

  • Full tang manganese steel blade with a gold-toned finish and hand-engraved lightning pattern across the entire nagasa, hardened to 58 HRC for lasting edge retention.
  • Folded steel construction creates layered grain visible beneath the golden surface, with a 29-inch nagasa delivering a total sword length of 45.6 inches.
  • Gold alloy dragon-themed tsuba sculpted in high relief, featuring a roaring dragon head that wraps around the blade opening for a bold dimensional accent.
  • Yellow leather tsuka wrap over white polyurethane samegawa on a 10.25-inch handle, topped with a gold flame-shaped kashira that echoes the lightning motif.
  • Hardwood saya finished in brown and gold crackle-pattern leather, measuring 29.5 inches, providing a textured scaled appearance that complements the dragon theme.

It's a very nice sword. Good quality, little minor scratches on the blade very sharp and it looks good with my collection. I will buy from your company again

It is a piece of art for sure! I was a little disappointed that that tsuba looked kind of cheap and there's visible glue in places. The etching on the blade is gorgeous though and the whole thing is nice and weighty. Even the sheath is pretty. Thank you!

The sword is in great condition, but I never received the holder that I ordered with it. Will that still be shipped to me?

I had no idea that this sword would be so spectacular, I bought this sword for my 16 yr old stepson and this is his very first sword, I thought it was going to be cheaply made that is why I purchased it. When I received the sword I opened the package and OMG!!! The sword is heavy and made with fantastic craftsmanship and it’s CRAZY SHARP!!!!! Great job I’m very very very satisfied!

Sword was exactly as advertised. This is my first ever blade, so to see this in my hands was a pretty unique experience. The weight of the sword felt real to me, and the blade has a clean finish. I would like to see more blades with an animal near the hilt. It's got that Power Rangers -esque type style to it and I imagine that show's an amazing source to craft new blades from.
