This item arrived 2 days after initial delivery date and the box was opened at the end and the foam packing was pealled away life someone tried to slide it out of the end. Probably shouldn't put True Katana on the box to avoid this. If it wasn't so tight in the box I probably would have gotten an empty box.

Shipping was a little confusing.... it only took one werk exactly. It was in order processing and "on the way" to be shipped with delivery on Tuesday. It stayed in that mode and arrived Monday... True Katana has many katanas that I wanted. I settled on a gold katana as my first choice. Its a beutiful sword for practicing katas or for display purposes. I would not recommend using this sword for cutting. The sheath is a little flimsy but overall very nice and fits in style with the sword.
When buying: look to see if the katana is in stock and ready to ship. Mine was stated delivery within a week!
*katanas not showing ready for delivery may take longer. I will buy one that isn't ready for shipment to see how long it takes and will leave a post!

Sword was exactly as advertised. This is my first ever blade, so to see this in my hands was a pretty unique experience. The weight of the sword felt real to me, and the blade has a clean finish. I would like to see more blades with an animal near the hilt. It's got that Power Rangers -esque type style to it and I imagine that show's an amazing source to craft new blades from.
