Product Details

This crimson red katana features a 29-inch folded damascus steel blade hardened to 58 HRC. The folding process creates layered internal grain structure, and the dramatic red-to-dark gradient along the blade spine transitions into a polished silver edge. The full tang construction runs through the entire handle, secured at the pommel for solid structural integrity.

The 10.25-inch tsuka is built on a hardwood core wrapped in red polyurethane leather samegawa, then bound tightly with black cotton cord in a traditional crosshatch pattern. The red samegawa peeks through the black wrapping in a rhythmic diamond pattern, echoing the crimson theme of the blade itself.

At the guard position sits an alloy tsuba in a gold and dark finish, featuring a raised bamboo relief design. A brass habaki collar seats the blade firmly into the tsuba, and the overall assembly provides a clean visual transition from blade to handle. This piece fits well among other Red Katana Sword collectibles.

The matte black hardwood saya measures 29.5 inches and is wrapped with a black sageo cord tied in a traditional knot. The saya mouth fits snugly against the habaki, and the deep black finish creates a stark contrast against the crimson blade when drawn. The overall aesthetic leans toward a bold red-and-black color scheme throughout.

At 40.5 inches in overall length and 3.2 lbs, this katana is sized as a standard collectible replica. The folded damascus steel construction, crimson gradient blade, and coordinated black fittings make it a standout addition to any display. Collectors drawn to bold color themes may also appreciate the Multi-colored Blade Japanese Samurai Swords collection.

The swordsmith who made this katana deserves a raise 10/10 ..Stays sturdy and cuts clean through bamboo mats. Just learning with the mat cutting but real good for improving focus, kinesthetic-intelligence, clearing your mind—good therapy 💯 . This sword, the manganese steel, holds up well after heavy use.

The tip of the paint or whatever wasn’t the color like the rest of the blade it was silver and a piece of the chasing already chipped off
