T10 Carbon Steel Katana with Wave Engraving, Dragon Tsuba in White, Dark Blue Cord Handle

The blade on this katana is forged from T10 carbon steel, heat-treated to develop a defined hamon line visible along the edge. A hand-finished wave engraving runs the length of the blade, adding visual depth to the polished chrome finish. This level of blade detail is characteristic of Traditional Handmade Katana work, where each piece reflects individual craftsmanship rather than mass production.

The tsuka is wrapped in dark blue cord over a white PU ray-skin (samegawa) base, using a traditional diamond-pattern binding that provides consistent grip tension. Gold-tone menuki are set beneath the wrap, adding a refined metallic accent against the deep navy braid.

At the blade-to-handle junction, a white alloy tsuba presents a dragon motif carved in raised relief - one of the most visually commanding elements of this build. The circular guard contrasts cleanly with the dark blue sageo and black saya, and the gold fuchi collar ties the fittings together into a cohesive koshirae presentation.

The saya is constructed from hardwood finished in a deep gloss black lacquer. Dark blue sageo cord is tied in a traditional decorative knot with a tasseled finish, completing the overall look.
