Beautiful work! My husband is so pleased. It shipped faster than I thought it would and the blade is beautiful. The whole katana feels solid and HEAVY. It doesn't feel like it's just aluminum pieces tack welded together. Very, very pleased with what I received.

The overall product is very nice. The blade and fittings are quality. However the Saya does not fit properly and the blade sometime get stuck "in" the wood making the drawing hawkward and dangerous.

Though it is beautifully designed and handles really well, I did take off points for 2 reasons. The first was the packaging, which was just plain styrofoam which made a huge mess when I tried opening it. Second was the false advertising for it. In the description, and even the name, it says that the blade was Sharpened, which I have found out was not true. It is a minor thing, but for someone like me, who doesn't have access to a forge or someone to sharpen the head, it was a bit of a disappointment. Not enough to send it back or give it a low score. But enough to take off points and not make it perfect

THE QUALITY AND CRAFTSMANSHIP IS OUTSTANDING! My boyfriend, who knows a lot about weaponry and Japan and Japanese weaponry in particular, could not get over how amazing the craftsmanship was and how beautiful it was! He was also elated to find the hidden knife in the sheath! I would give this 6 starts if we were allowed to rate above 5 stars!
