It’s a good sword I love how it looks the price amazing. There was dried hot glue on some bits of the sheathe and on the habaki. The sword comes out of the sheathe easy but it doesn’t just slip out like most profound swords do and requires a little more strength it makes me question it but over all 4 stars!

The handcrafting of the tsuba (guard) for the one that I've chosen with the erotic samurai-geishas' motif is a very impressive work of art (see photos) and I would recommend it for both historians like me and passionate collectors of the medieval Japanese civilization. Very good work on the two scabbards and the other guard also. My only concern in regards to fabrication and construction is the fact that I would have liked to see brass or steel pegs where the hilt is mated to the tang area and not the traditional wooden pegs. It's ok for display purposes but it would be a problem when one starts to apply pressure and force through the blade when cutting or striking. Other than that I would recommend the purchase of models higher than $1k for true aficionados and for people who really want to test the blades' cutting ability. I will also return soon with another order for some Shirasaya katanas (sleek katana models without a guard) that were featured so artistically magnificent in the two Kill Bill masterpieces by mr. Tarantino !

So, I ordered a Wakizashi, together with this absolute beautiful Katana, and they arrived today.

I had a complaint about the Wakizashi, so that the TK-Team handled it a way, with that I am quite happy... so the customer-service is pretty super, as these guys take their Stuff serious.


The Tsuka of the Katana is absolutely astonishing... upon holding it firmly, I get better grip than with other swords I tested, so I was positively surprised. The Blade itself is absolutely beautiful... it was a present for me father, and he is crazy about it as I am.

Well, I ordered this beautiful Wakizashi together with a expensive Katana for my dad, and the 2 Swords arrives today.
About this brown Wakizashi: As it was stated to have a 26cm Tsuka, and as seen on the website to have a Bohi on the Blade... I ordered it. All in all, the Wakizashi has been looking awesome in pictures.

Today it arrived, and unfortunately, the Tsuka was only 21cm long, and the Blade didn't have a Bohi (Blood Groove).

I ordered from Austria, I had to wait quite some time and was very unsatisfied with the short Tsuka and Blade without the Bohi. Yet, I was very surprised, by how kind, service-orientated and extra-ordinary-professional these guys handled it.

The swords looks awesome, but still, I was dissatisfied, so they offered me some ammount of refund which honestly, arrived a couple of hours ago. I am quite happy with this solution and still, the Swords are pretty decent, feel like quality-items and the team handled this very fast. The Katana is absolute awesome... so thank you a lot !

Well made, nice weight, and a beautiful blade.

The only negative is the dragon head of the pommel is pretty sharp so it make the sword uncomfortable to wield. However, I was able to rotate it 180 degrees which eliminated the problem.

This showed another small issue with the mounting of the pommel since it screws on, but locktite will address that. The pommel should really be redesigned to smooth it out.

That all said, I am happy with my purchase and would buy again.
