I'm not gonna say there aren't better but for a first sword or practice sword at this price I don't see you getting anything better. Metal seams to hold its edge good but I haven't done enough testing yet for that.

Order arrived very quickly. The sword looks great and will go great with my cosplay. My only complaints with it are:

1. the top of the blade has some black smudgy subsistence that comes off very easily and looks unevenly applied.

2. The scabbard is held together by a cheap vinyl/plastic cover that has moved around is now slightly off centered.

For being not one of their quality and pricey offerings it is a good katana. It will look great for my Chainsaw Man cosplay. Would order another better one for display.
