The katana itself is heavy, solid, and appears to be well-made. The edge is quite sharp, but probably not as sharp as some would prefer. This is easily remedied by someone who knows what they are doing. We haven't tried it on a pig carcass or anything yet. :) Will update should the opportunity arise.
