Excellent Japanese swords. Only one issue & that is the swords fit too tightly in their scabbards. A little hand finishing with a hobby knife at the mouth of the scabbards did the trick. The same was true for the Tanto’s scabbard I purchased earlier. Overall a fine set of swords.

Great purchase, I would only add that it was unclear if you were using USPS or someone else like UPS. This would be a problem for me since the USPS doesn't deliver to address per my request. (They would deliver to my P.O.Box) I'm crossing my Katana's and hoping my order is delivered via someone other than USPS.

I purchased this as a gift for my adult daughter. The quality out of the box was extraordinary. Finishes on the blade, handguard, and scabbard are very high quality. The blade itself is quite beautiful and seems expertly crafted. Overall I would recommend to anyone looking for a high quality wakizashi.

I got it on sale but some issues may indicate why it was on sale.
Cons:
Blade was bent and wavy ( not straight)
the grinds were a little heavy on some places showing little hot spots.
The Hamon was very prominent in photos but very faint in person.
Pros:
Blade is very sharp and although faint, the Hamon looks much better than a fake hamon.
Woodworking (and wood) vas very nice
Fitting was very nice and tight (handle ,and sword to sheath)
Overall it's ok for the "sale" price, but as is I would not pay full price again for the same piece that I recieved.
I am reviewing only 1 piece and this does not reflect True Katana's Overall product .

I was expecting real bamboo. After seeing it's not, I read the description again. "bamboo style wooden". Yup, beware of details. But it is still very cool. I am definitely keeping it. The blade is Damascus Steel. The blade is cooler than the handle/sheath. I'll probably never use it. For self defense I prefer a gun as Indiana Jones used against an expert sworder. But I do respect the Samari.

I love the wakazashi very well made and really sharp!!! And FINALLY REAL RAY SKIN but love the sword. The only downside I don’t like about it is that the scarbard was wayyy too loose so I have to modify if so it wouldn’t be as loose but otherwise it’s a masterpiece!!!

Beautiful sword. The koi fish are are very nice as is the blade and handle. The only problem is that the saya (scabbard) is silver and not white as shown in the ad, however, I will keep it rather than return it and have to wait for a replacement. that is why I am rating it 4 stars, otherwise it would be 5 stars.

Originally thought this could be a sketchy website but the swords came in 2 weeks like they said and were real steel. They weren't as sharp as I was expecting but I still managed to cut myself lol. They have held up pretty nicely since I got them and they are fun to play with ! though the katana is a bit too long for me, they are still fun to wear and display. Definitely recommend !
