Who found the sword of Goujian?

 Updated Sep 2021

The sword of Goujian was discovered by archaeologists in China. It was found in 1965 during the excavation of the tomb of King Goujian of Yue, who ruled during the Spring and Autumn Period of Chinese history (around 496–465 BC). The tomb was located in Jiangling, Hubei province, China. The sword itself was incredibly well-preserved, with its blade still sharp and shiny despite being buried for over 2,000 years. The discovery of the sword of Goujian provided valuable insights into ancient Chinese metallurgy and craftsmanship.
