Product Details

This golden katana features a 27.5-inch blade forged from 1045 carbon steel, heat-treated to 58 HRC hardness and finished with a distinctive golden tone. Silver bamboo leaf motifs are engraved directly into the blade surface, running from the mune toward the kissaki, creating a striking contrast against the warm golden steel. The full tang design extends through the entire handle, providing structural integrity from tip to pommel. Among Gold 1045 Carbon Steel Katana options, this piece stands out for its unified golden theme and detailed engravings.

The 10.2-inch tsuka is built over a core wrapped in genuine black rayskin, then tightly bound with gold ito cord in a traditional diamond-pattern wrap. The alternating black rayskin nodes visible between the gold cord add texture and visual depth, while the gold kashira at the pommel features an ornate sculpted cap with flowing scroll relief.

At the guard, a gold alloy tsuba displays an openwork flower design with layered petals and curving tendrils. The intricate piercing work allows glimpses of the blade and handle behind it, adding dimension. Matching gold habaki and seppa complete the blade collar assembly, ensuring a snug fit within the saya.

The hardwood saya is finished in a matte gold surface and adorned with hand-painted black kanji characters across its length. These calligraphic inscriptions give the scabbard a manuscript-like quality, evoking classical Japanese artistry. A gold sageo cord is tied at the kurikata in a traditional knot, and the koiguchi mouth is fitted with a black horn-style accent that contrasts cleanly against the gold body.

Measuring 40.5 inches in overall length and weighing 3.3 lbs, this katana carries real presence both in hand and on display. The cohesive gold color palette - from blade to tsuka to saya - creates a unified aesthetic rarely seen in replica swords. Whether displayed on a stand or added to a growing collection of Full Tang 1045 Carbon Steel Sword pieces, this katana delivers on craftsmanship and visual impact.

I gave a 3 star due to the scabbard. It looks rushed and very plastic looking. The material looks pressed together and wasn’t happy with scabbard. Sword was great though.

It’s a very nice katana, however I don’t like the plating on the guard. It looks tacky and fake. Otherwise the rest of the katana looks and feels awesome.

This sword is gorgeous, i would take a picture but they just don’t do it any justice. the blade is gold, with a beautiful bamboo artwork as shown. a little on the heavy side but balanced well. handle is comfortable; just overall a great blade

Not the best photograph I've ever taken so I'll tell you about it this sword is both beautiful and made with quality. It has a great heft to it a little heavier than I'm used to but that's okay. The transaction was easy the shipping arrived on time and in good order. I call it the king's sword the katana is gold very striking very beautiful. And the fact that it's not a mantle piece only makes it even that much better. I spent time in Okinawa and I'm sure my Sensei would approve. That was many many years ago now I am the Sensei.
