Product Details

This chokuto ninjato features a straight 28.5-inch blade forged from 1045 carbon steel, hand-polished to a chrome-tone finish. A visible hamon line runs along the edge, adding visual depth to the polished surface. The blade hardness sits at 58 HRC, and the hand-finished edge tapers to a clean kissaki point - a hallmark of the classic straight-blade ninjato form found across our Real Ninjato collection.

The tsuka extends 10.25 inches and is wrapped in brown cotton ito cord over white samegawa. The weave pattern is tight and consistent, offering both grip texture and visual appeal. Brown sageo cord on the saya echoes the handle wrap, tying the entire color palette together in warm earth tones.

At the junction of blade and handle, a silver-tone alloy tsuba displays a plum blossom design in dark relief on both faces. A gold-finished habaki collar sits just below the tsuba, creating a striking contrast between the warm gold, dark silver floral guard, and the polished steel blade.

The 28.5-inch hardwood saya is coated in piano lacquer with a black base overlaid by fine gold vine-like patterning that catches light at different angles. The kurikata fitting is finished in matching black lacquer, and the brown sageo cord is tied in a traditional knot. This patterned saya gives the piece a distinctive character compared to plain scabbard designs, making it well-suited for collectors who appreciate cool ninja sword aesthetics.

With full tang construction, an overall length of 40.5 inches, and a weight of 4.5 lbs, this ninjato carries solid heft and balance. The alloy kashira cap at the pommel features the same dark floral relief as the tsuba, bookending the handle with a cohesive design. Every fitting - from habaki to kashira - is assembled by hand, making this a detailed collectible piece for enthusiasts of Japanese straight-blade swords.

WOW! Fast shipping and superior quality! I was not expecting what I ordered at the price. Full tang and very, very balanced. The absolute best Ninjato I have come across so far!

I love the quality of the sword, the detail is awesome and it's the exact color I've been looking for. However I was disappointed that it didn't come with a sword bag as other swords I've purchased before did.

The packaging was a little lackluster, just the sword encased in a slim styrofoam block, but that didn't seem to effect the sword at all. Zero damage from shipping. It's sharp and gorgeous. The sword also shows great craftsmanship with no loose pieces at all.

Professionallly crafted, durable, wonderful centerpiece for a room. Amazing purchase. Had a little time getting to me but I understand that is not there fault but rather the shipping company. 5 star product 2 star shipping.
