The three stars is for the “Double Strike Ninja twin Sword set”The shoulder harness for the ninja swords is really cheap and one of the swords was not oiled and the blade still had burrs on it. Had to put in the work to get it into shape. I give 5 stars for the Blind Fury Zatoichi Stick/Cane. This is really nice and will become my walking stick when hiking and backpack

This was my 3rd purchase from True Katana. But it's my first straight blade Katana (don't know the technical name) Very sleek and stylish. I love the simplicity of this sword. It came packaged well, the blade was wrapped in plastic and had a layer of oil to preserve it. Very sharp!!, feels good to hold and swing. Don't know if they make a set of this or not. I find no irregularities, no wobbling what so ever and it slides in smoothly. The Katana is exactly what they post on the site, just looks better up close and personal. Very pleased with this purchase.

I originally bought this sword solely for the saya and planned on selling the sword. However, I ended up liking this sword way more than I expected so I decided to keep it. Shipping only took about a week so that was great. The sword I received was exactly as pictured. From what I can tell, the sword/saya is of great quality for the price and is well assembled. Super shard blade, excellent grip on the handle and nothing feels loose like it's about to fall apart. The grip on the handle is the main reason I kept the sword as it feels so comfortable in the hands and gives you a really firm, secure grip. My only complaint, as others have previously mentioned, is that the handle is slightly offset from the blade. Not a huge deal for me but definitely worth mentioning. The saya is excellent as well. I was looking for a saya with a matte black finish and this one definitely checked the box. I really wish some of these companies would stop advertising these swords as battle ready when they obviously aren't. There was a little paper booklet that came with the sword informing you of all the things you shouldn't do with the sword. I had a laugh at some of them such as "Don't lick the sword" or "Don't put the sword in your mouth". They obviously have to include this for legal reasons but most of it is just common sense lol. The only thing it said you should use the sword for is pretty much display, which contradicts what is stated in the description on the website. I bought this fully aware that this isn't a battle ready sword knowing I would only ever use it for display. If you wanted a battle ready sword, you would be paying $500 minimum likely much more than that. Could you use this sword to defend yourself if it came down it? Absolutely. It could definitely save your life. But I would never trust this sword with my life out on the battlefield knowing full well that it will most likely fail and break. I just wanted to bring this to light so any first time sword buyers know exactly what they are paying for and that swords in this price range are not battle ready. I just wish some of these companies could be more honest and upfront about what their swords can and cannot do. With all that being said, I still do like this sword very much and I can definitely recommend it to anyone who's interested. Just be aware of the limitations of swords in this price range.

This one is a great find. Beautiful build quality and also very affordable. It caught my eye emediately on the website, ordered it and when it arrived in almost less than a week I was not disappointed. The weight of it is awesome, really feels strong in hand. The sleek simple bamboo design is top notch also . This sword took me back to my days in Okinawa, Japan thanks True Katana! When it arrived there was a couple cracks in my scabbard causing it to release a little loosely but I addressed it with TrueKatana Customer service and they sent me a new scabbard free of charge! Best customer service ever! Sent an email with a couple pictures and Fiona responded promptly within 24 hrs. Very pleased with the TrueKatana brand so far! Looking forward to my next purchase. I got this for my husband, and he was surprise and very amused. But loved it. The packing was great. I was a bit surprise that it was coming from China, nothing on the website said it was coming from there. Getting the sword out of the scabbard was difficult, until I figure out that it was covered in plastic. Nice way to protected, but also less chance of cutting yourself when taking it out. Overall good. I don't know much about quality, but unless you are real samurai and regularly goes on battle, this sword looks and feels great. The weight felt nice, my husband agreed also. He managed to wielded and move it around a bit and found the feel of it good for him. The price did not hurt either. I was expected to paid more for it.

What a beautiful piece, the Saya fits snug with no rattle and the blade was oiled and in perfect shape! I’ve been having a Zatoichi marathon since it came! I foolishly read into some bad reviews because the shipping confirmation never updated. I contacted them via email and Fiona was quick to reply and follow up with UPS. Not sure what she told UPS, maybe she threatened them with a katana because they got the lead out and it arrived to NC in less than a week! Thank you so much, I love it!

Is a great sword.
Got drunk buzzed one knight and watched Kill Bill, specifically one with the Chinese Jap-American girl as the antagonist in the Chapter, wanted to buy a sword like hers; ended up doing that the next day and waited awhile.

Got it and I’m not disappointed; has a good weight and feel to it, the sheath is beautiful, and not only that the blade is pseudo-sharp. If you want it to be sharp, you’ll have to do it yourself or get it professionally sharpened, which is understandable, because if you’re committed to it, you wouldn’t mind sharpening it.

Just remember to buy Sword Oil for it, protection from corrosion is PARAMOUNT.

Oh my god this sword is really cool. I sliced fruit with it like fruit ninja and it’s super sharp and cut it directly in half. It was really awesome I urge you to buy a sword if you’re considering it. Swords are cooler than guns because sword fighting is awesome. Plus Ninjas are cool so having a ninja sword is cool.
