It’s a nice sword don’t get me wrong, but it’s not at orange as I originally thought, it’s got more of a gold color. But other than colors it’s great.

YES THE SWORD WAS NICE, HOWEVER. LAST TIME I HAD ORDERED THIS EXACT SAME ONE. AND IT HAD ONE SPECIAL DETAIL THAT MADE IT MY FAVORITE. IT HAD A FLOWER ENGRAVED ON THE BOTTOM PART. BY THE HANDLE. I ORDERED THE SAME ONE AND NOW THE DISTINCTIVE DETAIL IS MISSING. NOW ITS JUST PLAIN. NEXT TIME I HOPE TRUEKATANA CAN STICK TO THE ORIGINAL DESIGNS AND LITTLE DETAILS LIKE THAT CAUSE SOMEONE LIKE ME EASILY NOTICES THESE THINGS, AND I CANT LIE, THIS ONE WAS A BIT OF A DISAPPOINTMENT FOR THAT REASON. I got this for my husband, and he was surprise and very amused. But loved it. The packing was great. I was a bit surprise that it was coming from China, nothing on the website said it was coming from there. Getting the sword out of the scabbard was difficult, until I figure out that it was covered in plastic. Nice way to protected, but also less chance of cutting yourself when taking it out. Overall good. I don't know much about quality, but unless you are real samurai and regularly goes on battle, this sword looks and feels great. The weight felt nice, my husband agreed also. He managed to wielded and move it around a bit and found the feel of it good for him. The price did not hurt either. I was expected to paid more for it.

My katana came packaged in only foam and a lot of take, no box or anything, that led to the scabbard breaking in shipping but the katana itself was perfectly fine. While that was an inconvenience the customer service was impeccable and they shipped out a new scabbard within 2 hours of me contacting them on the same day it got delivered, definitely worth the inconvenience because the katana is very nice and the customer service was great.
